Gaye Wilson has decades of experience working with dogs. She has owned dogs for over 40 years, and worked her way through university in the 1970s at the RSPCA Animal Shelter at Yagoona, working with impounded animals, managing the intake and sale processes and checking each animal’s health.

In 2012 and 2013, she was involved in dog rescue as a foster carer. During that time, she fostered 17 dogs of all ages until they were successfully rehomed. She wishes she had known about massage therapy while she was fostering: it would have made fostering so much easier!

In late 2013, Gaye decided to stop fostering dogs, but still wanted to work with dogs. To that end, she graduated from the National College of Traditional Medicine with a Certificate in Canine Myofunctional Therapy in 2014.

Massage Therapy does not replace veterinary care. Please consult your veterinarian about any persistent problems your dog has.
